The 2019 Toyota RAV4 comes in nine trims, which makes deciding which model is best quite the task. That’s why our Toyota of Massapequa team has created this Toyota RAV4 trim level comparison.
Read through it, and don’t hesitate to reach out to us—especially if you live around the Massapequa, Seaford, or Long Island, New York, areas. We’d be more than happy to help you test drive whichever trim level you want!
Even the base Toyota RAV4 LE comes with the Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 (TSS 2.0) suite of safety technologies, which includes the:
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Road Sign Assist
These few are among other state-of-the-art safety features. These technologies will work hard to assist you as you drive, helping you to make the very best decisions and thus protecting everybody on board.
Toyota RAV4 LE Hybrid
The next level, the Toyota RAV4 LE Hybrid, is very similar to the base model, except it replaces its gasoline engine with a high-tech Hybrid 2.5-liter Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine that can achieve up to a 2019 EPA-estimated 41 city, 38 highway, and 40 combined MPG.1 This trim also provides the Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive, which intelligently responds to the road conditions.
Toyota RAV4 XLE
The XLE trim level adds additional safety technologies, including a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. It also throws in infotainment features like a glossy 8-inch touchscreen with Entune™ 3.0 Audio Plus. This app suite equips you with the Scout® GPS Link app, Siri® Eyes Free, and even Wi-Fi Connect® Powered by Verizon. Now, you and all your passengers can stay connected while you’re on the road.
Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid
Not only does the next hybrid version add the same hybrid powertrain that we mentioned above, but it also brings in systems like an available Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking and amenities like five USB ports. Furthermore, its LED projector-beam headlights with chrome bezels and Automatic High Beams are the type of exterior features that’ll have everybody doing a double take.
Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium
The Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium is all about interior upgrades, including SofTex®-trimmed front bucket seats with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and a leather-trimmed tilt-and-telescopic three-spoke wheel. And, if that wasn’t enough, its JBL® audio system with Clari-Fi™ technology gives your cabin 11 speakers across nine strategically determined locations, including a subwoofer and an amplifier. This will turn listening to music in the car from an idle pastime into one of the main attractions.
Toyota RAV4 Adventure
When it comes time to follow your adventure, you’re going to need the right AWD system to help you get off the beaten path. And there’s a reason that they call this trim level the Toyota RAV4 Adventure—we’d like to introduce Toyota’s Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive. It’ll significantly boost your vehicle’s responsiveness and stability by shooting around 50 percent of its engine power to the rear axle, as well as intelligently determining which rear wheel should get the bulk of that 50 percent share of the power.
Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid
If one of the previous trim levels was all about interior upgrades, then this one’s all about exterior upgrades, including 18-inch 5-spoke black-painted sport alloy wheels and standard two-tone exterior color with a midnight black metallic roof or an available panoramic glass roof. And, with the XSE Hybrid, you’ll have a 7-inch digital Multi-Information Display with customizable settings that’ll let you see all your trip info.
Toyota RAV4 Limited
When it comes time to see what’s going on behind you, the digital rearview mirror and the available Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan and an overhead 360-degree view will become your new norm. Even if you decline to upgrade to this feature, the RAV4 Limited comes standard with a digital rearview mirror. It also adds Dynamic Navigation to your Entune™ 3.0 Premium Audio setup, which means you’ll have GPS-guided, turn-by-turn directions to every destination.
Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid
With the Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid, you’ll once again enjoy the money-saving efficiency of the hybrid powertrain, as well as the luxurious comfort of available heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats. Finally, an available panoramic glass roof with a front power tilt/slide moonroof (which is also available on the non-Hybrid Limited trim) will let in the fresh air and the sunlight.
